Mrs. Lindsey Shields joined our school family in 2021 as a paraprofessional in our Academic Enhancement program. Last year, she took on the role of our computer instructor, teaching all students in grades K-7. 💻⌨️🖱
She has always been passionate about working with students, and watching students grow from year-to-year is very fulfilling for her. She chose to work at SJC because of the opportunity to share our faith in addition to excellent academics.✏️📘📗
In her free time, Mrs. Lindsey enjoys digital scrapbooking. She also gets to express this interest and experience by designing our yearbook each year.✝🍎🫶

Mrs. Brittan Stevens joined the SJC family in 2018 as our school bookkeeper. She graduated from SJC, EDW, and NSU. She first game to SJC in 5th grade and loved it so much!
She loves every chance she gets to chat with the students when they go to the office. She enjoys hearing the creative and fun stories. She chooses to work at SJC because of the Christ-centered environment. 🍎🫶✝️

Mrs. Heather Ledet joined our SJC school family in 2022 as a 1st grade teacher.

Mrs. Lyndy graduated from Delgado Community College in 2002 in Radiologic Technology, and she joined our school family as a para in 2012. She earned her B.S. from NSU in 2022 while continuing to work full-time here at SJC. 👩🎓
She has served our school as a para in both 1st grade and kindergarten, she has served as our computer lab facilitator, and she is currently teaching PE. She loves working with all of our students.🍎❤✝
In her free time, Mrs. Lyndy loves to take pictures, especially of her own children playing sports. ⚾️🏈🏸⚽️🏐
Earlier this school year, Father Robert visited to ask our students for help supporting the needy children through the Missionary Childhood Association. We are so proud of our students for stepping up to the challenge and having lemonade sales and even emptying their own piggy banks to collect for the needy. Thank you for loving like Jesus!

Mrs. Felicia Redmon is our Religious Ed. Coordinator and our Choir Leader. She originally joined our school family in 2014 but then moved out of state, and we are excited to welcome her back this year!
Mrs. Felicia has a background in art and music and absolutely loves her job here at St. Joseph. The students motivate her daily, and she that there is no greater joy than to praise God together at school. 🍎✝

Mrs. Leah Jones joined our school family as a PK teacher in 2017, and she has been having fun here ever since!

Mrs. Lora Ledet is one of our PE teachers, and she joined our SJC family in 2019. She loves her job because it is so much FUN. She loves to share her passion for health and daily movement with her students, all while doing so in a Christlike way.✝️

Mrs. Lora has a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from NSU and is a long-distance runner, currently training for a December marathon.

Mrs. Giroir is our 4th grade Science and Social Studies teacher. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in chemistry and a Master of Arts degree in teaching. She joined our SJCES Jaguar family in 2021. 🐆
Mrs. Katie attended St. Joseph as a child, so she says that working here is full circle for her! She loves the mission of our school and the way it challenges our students to be the best version of themselves.✏️📖
She loves to exercise, shop, go out to eat, and travel, and she especially LOVES Disney! :)

Mr. T joined our school family as our band director in 2016, and teaches band students in grades 5-7 and introduces all students to music in 4th grade.
His favorite motto is "Treat others the way you would like to be treated, with kindness and respect," and Mr. T does just that each and every day!
In his free time, Mr. T plays tennis, baseball, and other sports. He's a good bowler and a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie. He loves high-thrill rollercoasters and has done several exciting experiences like whale watching, mountain climbing, and white water rafting, and parasailing. He is looking forward to his next big adventure, SKYDIVING! 🛩🪂

Mrs. Crystal Boudreaux teaches 7th grade at St. Joseph, and this is her very first year in our family! 🐆💙🤍
Mrs. Crystal became a teacher because she wants to CHANGE THE WORLD. 🌎
She has a Bachelors of Arts in English Education with a Minor in Spanish Education from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene Texas, and a Masters in Education with an Emphasis on Teacher Leadership.
When asked about her hobbies and interests, Mrs. Crystal said, "When I am not with my school children, you can find me with my husband, Trevis, and our two boys, Brady (18) and Kirk (2). Friday nights are for high school football, Saturdays are for college football, and Sunday’s are for Jesus and the Saints (at least that’s what I said in my vows, but I am Chief’s fan through and through!) I also love crafting, reading, and hosting one woman concerts on road trips!" ✝️👨👩👦👦🏈

Mrs. Haley graduated from Nicholls State University and became a teacher because she always loved children and she loves learning. ✏️📓🍎

St. Joseph is proud to recognize Benton Foret as our 2023 Distinguished Graduate. Benton attended St. Joseph from 1981 through 1989 and graduated from E. D. White in 1994. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from Nicholls State University in 1999. Benton owns and operates Foret Contracting Group and Geaux Waste Company. Benton is a strong supporter of Catholic education and a member of many community organizations including the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce, Bayou Industrial Group, Association of General Contractors, Association of Builders and Contractors, National Association of Landscape Professionals, Louisiana Nursery and Landscape Association, Louisiana State Firemen’s Association, and Past Chairman of the LSU agricultural Advisory Council. He has been a member of the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department since 1994. Benton was awarded the Francis Prejean Memorial Award in 2013 and the 2022 Chief for Life from the Thibodaux Vol. Fire Department. Benton is a parishioner of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral where he serves as an usher for 11:30 Mass and a confirmation mentor. He is a member of Legatus and participated in the Men’s Axe retreat. Congratulations!

We are excited to welcome Jennifer Guidry, LPC, to our St. Joe school family! Ms. Guidry has been a school counselor for 7 years, working with students in grades PK-8th. In addition, she has a background in Play Therapy. Her goal as school counselor is to support students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. She provides services through lessons, individual counseling, and group counseling, working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure student success.
